Small bites of Christmas heaven, these little ones. And a much healthier alternative to most other Christmas sweets. You should be able to find the little foil praline baking cups in most super markets. Makes about 40 of them.
- 1 cup coconut oil
- ¾ cup hazelnut cream/butter/oil (names will vary depending on brand. Make sure to use one with 100% hazelnuts and no additives)
- ½ cup agave
- 8 dates
- ½ cup hazelnuts
- ½ cup almond milk
- ½ cup cacao (i use the raw kind)
- Melt the coconut in a pot on low heat. Pour it into a blender and add all other ingredients (or use a high power hand blender). Run on full speed for a few minutes or until you have a completely smooth cream. Now taste, and add a little more agave if you like it sweeter.
- Pour the cream into little mini praline baking cups, and place in the fridge until serving time (for at least one hour).
